ok, see... i've been best friends w/.... "A" since 1st grade & me & her get along great. the thing is, last year, "B" came along... she is SUPER annoying, stuck up, selfish, and mean. Everyone, including me, thinks so. The thing is, A is the only person she's nice to. The thing it comes down to, is that A likes her as a really really good friend! So then she wants to have 2 ‘best friends’.. which would be fine except for the fact that B is SUPER annoying and us 2 can NEVER get along!!! All last year, me&B tried & tried to get along, for the sake of A [since we both love her so much] but it just wouldn’t work! You can’t force a friendship & I know its totally true from what we’ve tried… we just don’t get along!!! This year, we’re all totally depressed now, cuz this thing is totally making my life miserable & theirs too! i cry ourselves to sleep almost every night becuz of this. We’ve had this ‘fake friendship’ forever… everyone thinks us 3 are the best of the best of friends… but really, me & B hate each other & are silent enemies :-( plus, I get jealous a lot cuz sometimes B gets to sit by A & stuff cuz of the seating charts… help?!?! What can I do?!

aww.. i guess... dont see B as much as possible? like..try to ignore the chances of seeing her... but wen its needed to, then u go hang out.. i dunno ur in a difficult situation lol good luck

Wow, talk about drama. You guys should send your story to like NBC, they might turn it into a soap.

Back to topic. A's your bestfriend right? So if she's your bestfriend, then why do you think she'll just leave you for B? If she does leave you, then to hell with her! She's not that good of a friend. Just relax, let everything fall into place. If B's really what you said she was, A would realise it and will go back to you.

Your right, you cannot force a friendship, and second, if your close enough with your friend, then you would go through alot to be friends with that person, right? Therefor, I think you should just deal with the annoying "B" person. I know that sounds harsh but its the truth, and it might be the only way... unless you hire a hit man... but I dont suggest that.

hmm... it seems to me that B could get along with you, just B doesnt try. Maybe B should try like how she (right?) tries to be nice to A so much. Its awfully sweet of you to have a fake friendship with B for A, but its gunna get you nowhere unless you talk to B and A about this and get it all figured out. i think its pretty messed up that A cant even chose between you guys and makes you guys go thru so much for her. thass... selfish. and you and B are being to generous in trying to have a fake friendship like that.
hope you figure things out soon! all i can say is to talk to them... thass the only way to get this solved once and for all.

there isn't all that much y0u can d0 ab0ut it .. if A is y0ur best friend then y0u w0n't let this B pers0n get in between y0u .. respect the fact that y0ur friend wants t0 have 2 best friends and n0t just y0u .. if y0u d0n't get al0ng with B .. d0n't hang ar0und with her and pretend y0u get al0ng -- simply put .. that's a burden 0n y0urself but y0u als0 put it up0n y0urself .. d0n't hide that y0u d0n't get al0ng with her .. y0u sh0uld be h0nest with y0urself and y0ur best friend .. maybe y0u sh0uld talk t0 her ab0ut this and see what y0u can d0 ab0ut it ..
