On Thursday, I started working(my first job). I work at this trucking company doing filing and other office work. Its a pretty good job and they pay me 10 dollars an hour so its definitely good considering Im only 15 and its my first job.

I know alot of you don't work yet because of your age but for the ones who do, where do you work and what was your first job? I'm just curious. happy.gif

the one thing i had that's closest to a job would be helping a teacher o.O otherwise, i don't really have a job.

im unemployed at the momment blink.gif tryin to find a job in the mall but its not easy...

during freshmen year summer(Senior now) i worked with my dad for CMT Tradings ( http://www.CMTTrading.com ) . like you i also did office works .. Answering Customer service E-mails,Printing Out Shipment UPS shipping stickers for the packages and paypal/ebay money transfering ... haha yeah hella work but i got payed 12 $ an hour , 8 hours a day,5 days a week... I cant work there during the school year cuz work starts at 8 am :(

my first job was a baby-sitter... i was babysitting these 2 kids^^;;

right now im not working, im retired.

I have 2 jobs...Macy's...as a sale's associate in Men's Shoes...$8.50 an hour...and as a Brand Rep @ Hollister...pay sucks...I get minimum ($7.15)...and the hours suck I get like 10 a week...if I'm LUCKY!...but it's a pretty cool job...just chill...fold clothes sometimes, flirt w/ the hot customers while ringing them up...a lot of girls come in the store a lot...it's very laid back...I dont work here for the pay...hahaha...thats what Macy's is for...and I also get an awesome Discount _smile.gif

I work at the local pet store in my neighborhood.
I work with all the animals, but I specialize in fish.
It's not a store part of a chain like petsmart, it's its own little store.
But alot of customers! More money.

$10/hr for your first job? nice...i'm still at my first job, which is at a pizza branch called panago. i've been working there for a bit over a year now...its okay. i get minimum. $7/hr ermm.gif which sucks...i'm going to try and get a new job soon though. i'm gonna try at the new movie theatre they're building 10 minutes from my house or the mall. i wanna work in retail instead of food now so yeah.

i don't have a job yet but i'm goin for baby siting training next saturday so i can do that, and when i'm older i'll work for my dad for $10 and hour

My sister works at the company and has been for two years now. She got me the job. So maybe thats why hes paying me $10/hr. But the minimum pay there is $9/hr anyways. I'm not complaining though. cool.gif

i'm not old enough to go out and like, really work, but i do websites for people. right now i'm working on one for my mom's company and i'm getting like 500-600 dollars for it. biggrin.gif

yeah, i have the same job as you, but i hate it so much. i get paid $7/hour or something, but i really want to quit. Hmm, that was my first real job, but i've babysat my younger siblings before too.

i used to work at target, but then i quite cause it was only 5 bucks per hour. then i went over to this chinese restrant and now i get 8 bucks per hour. and tips. _smile.gif
