here's a poem I wrote, but i turned it into a song.. and i also had the music and vocal and everything down for this song..

Beating Too Slow

I cried the seven seas for you
But I kept the emotions to myself
I already got a man on my hand, I don't know what to do
Feel so selfish, maybe I'm just jealous
But inside my head, you're just a heart breaker
But in my heart, you're no heart taker
What are you, to me at least
Confused and can't see

It's three in the morning, and I sit here and write
Remembering and thinking 'bout the times I've cried
I thought these scenes were only in movies
But this scene is coming to me
I just wanna know why you did the things
And all the sudden wanting to leave
I thought I was over it
But now I don't know, as I quietly sit
You were so perfect to me
But later, we were like enemies
But now it's coming back to my head
Now i regret the things I've heard and said

I guess I shouldn't keep feelings inside
But there's no othere guy I confide
So do I tell you, or somebody else
Cause your voice just makes me melt
I don't even know why I'm grieving
Because these feelings were leaving
But now they're back
Losing something that I used to have
