okay i want to die my hair platinum blonde (like jessica simpson) and when i ask my mom she refuses! ugh! it makes me so mad!
 she says its too fake soo girls what do you think.. [[ is there anything wrong with platinum blonde hair ]]IM TIRED OF THE STEREOTYPES! i want that hair.. i need advice.. how do i persuade my mom into letting me do it?  besides waiting till i can go do it myself. (which would be when i turn 16, get a car and a job and save up $.. im not a patient person i want it NOW)Any Suggestions? |

what's your natrual haircolor?? If it's like dark brown, and you use the hair dye from like the grocery store, then it's not gonna make it blond... So what u hae to do is bleach it all, then put that dye on it... otherwise, go get it professionally done...
Maybe you should start out with blonde streaks, and work up from there

i have light brown hair. i have blonde highlights already. soo Bleaching could possible turn it green or purple or anything like that. and plus my Delima is i dont have the money$$ to do it myself! so i can't go buy hair die and deffenitly not get it done professionally.
[once again my main qusetion: any ideas on how to persuade my mom into paying for me to get it done? another way or wording that: any ideas on how to get my mom to realize the whole Fake Blonde thing is for bimbos is just a steroetype!?] |

bleaching your hair won't turn it into green or anyother color but platnum blonde. if you buy a kit at a drug store its only like $10. but if you dye it b4 bleaching it, chances are it might turn out orangy.
how old are you? tell your mom that dying your hair won't change you/your personality. and you think it'll give you more confidence because you think it looks better. |

first of all, you gotta think about how much you want this. if you really do want this, then you get the money, dont wait for your mom to give it to you.
when i get my permed, or highlighted the range up the $20-35, and they do a really good job. i personally, go to asian places, maybe they are cheaper than other places, so you should try to look around for cheap barber shops. also, you have to think about the ending. if you dont like it, than you have to stay with it for at least three months, or your hair will be really damaged.... anyways, good luck and tell us how it goes

honestly platinum blonde does look fake and cheesy...
but just use those kits from the store.. they are like 12 bucks |

yah i thought about it.. i don't want the WHOLE platinum blonde look to WOW for me.. lol but i did talk her into letting me get more thicker highlights of the lightest blonde in my hair. soo that *should* lighten it up alot and give me a blonder look without turning myself into a barbie doll. (haha)

I bleached mine from home before when my mom wouldnt let me do it; I didnt do such a good job the first time, and my mom feeling bad since I messed my hair up, let me go get it done then ;p
