FAST STUDY TIPS...ASAP

okay so im in a bind .. i have a huge vocab test tom in english..and i cant pull my self together to study..im usually soo good at studing but im just lazy i dont no..any one got any good studing tips? my quiz is tom.. so umm just any good studding tips u have or think will work will help! THANKS ..

i tried studing..i sat there for an hour practicing and still didnt memorize anything..

yeah like they said, get off the comp and start to study, if you don then you probably will fail the test! I always do my homework and study for a test the DAY the assignment is given...

yea flash cards are good

use my method

learn one word

then learn another word

and start all over from the first word till you get to the word that you just read

example :

cat - is a animal

dog - is a animal

repeat all over

cat is a animal

dog is a animal

new word: giraffe

learn giraffe

then repeat all the other words before it till you get to the current word

it works ;p

p,s: if you're really desperate i suggest making a lil cheat sheet; on a 3"x3" piece of paper.

to study, i usually put like a definitions of the words on a sheet of paper... then i hafta write down the word and yehhh
after that, i haf a list of the words, then proceed to write down the definition of it...
always try to keep short definitions, less than 10 words.

either-
--read out loud. some people learn faster when they actually hear the information out loud.
--write it over and over agian till you get it. some people learn faster when they actually write it.
--read it inside your head/flashcards. some people learn faster when they go over it in their minds.
doesnt work? do a combination of all 3. works for me. ;D

get off the comp. lols make a studying sheet, look over the sheet. Then go 'n memorize lols. Oh 'n get some food..or like some green tea from arizona..tha helps me a lot =] lols

write definitions on the back of ur hand.....

take pictures with a camera phone.....

save txt msgs with the answer on ur phone...

study rite b4 a test.....

ask the person next to u what the answer is...

Well, first of all get off the damn computer! Haha, second of all maybe you should schedule your study time. Like, when you could study and you're not doing anything. Try not to cram it all in your head at one time like at the last minute.. And only concentrate on the studying and nothing else. When you study, don't pick up the phone (haha), get off the computer, turn off TV and radio (unless it's soothes your or keeps you concentrated) and keep studying until you're fully satisfied with yourself.

try getting off comp (i know it's hard) lol n try not to procrastinate. give urself a couple of breaks, but once u buckle down n start getting into a good pace, u'll cover what you need to and be prepared!! happy.gif pinch.gif

Pretending you're going to cheat actually works well. Like teachers always say, if cheaters put half the energy they do into studying that they do for cheating, they'd do okay, so apply that theory as you write things out to study.

chill for a few mins, then take a shower. once youre all fresh get our the words put em on flash cards and start studying! biggrin.gif i never study when i cant concentrate, i mean i end up forgetting anyways
