tele-marketers, what are your feelings towards them? Options

it's always been an annoyance to us to hear those tele-marketers on our phones.. but have we ever stopped to think about their situation? these people do this for a living so you can't really blame them, can you...?
i don't really hate them... plus.. i screen my calls now so they never get me on the phone these days.

But I do not like them.
It's annoying when I'm waiting for a call, and then they call and I get excited and think it's the person I'm waiting for to call.

I'm on the National Do-Not-Call List, but before that I'd have about 5-8 messages each day on my voicemail.

Ah, telemarketers dont call me house; my number was recently changed to a recycled number that i suppose had a bad rep of financial history. So, in other words they dont call my house because they THINK we're poor. abahaha

But, before that i'd always use to hear what they had to say then quickly hung up; mainly because i dont need anything they pitch to me and it's easy to get scammed over the phone.

I have a theory that they get your digits from where you enter those cheesy sweepstakes at malls and stuff for a car; where the car is on display and you fill out those cards with ur info and "enter" the rafle.

but no, they don't bother me. they're just doing their job. what pisses me off is how the company has my phone number. invasion of privacy perhaps??

yeah, they are really annoying. but since i have dial-up, when they call, they always reach a busy signal, so i don't get calls anymore.

Yeh, I hate 'em with a passion. I know they're just doing their job, but I'm sure that they don't lyke people always repeatedly calling their house. Once this telemarketer called my house around 6:00 AM on a Saturday, and they kept on calling, so I disconnected my phone to get more sleep. Eeh.

And at the end of the day, I check the caller ID and see that we got forty calls, the majority of them belonging to telemarketers.

We put our number on the don't call list a few years ago.
and they continue to call.
but i'm polite. i say we dont need it and hang up. instead of other people.

Yeah, I can't even count the number of times I got hung up on, or even worse, got cursed at! A few times I was even hit on...

I was pretty good tho. I was the top seller almost every day for the 3 months I worked there.

i put i hate them,but after i ran the thought of they're just doing their job through my head haha...well. . . it would be more convenient if they wouldnt start off so fast and keep going until they are finished to let u talk..cuz most of the time they ramble on and when their done i say ... im not old enough to make the decisions in the house...and they hang up haha

I have tried once that a woman doing survey phoned to my home
she said it would just spend you few minutes
but she kept asking me a lot of silly questions
and finally she spent 20 mins on it

I was a telemarketor over the summer.

Pay is pretty good for a part time job. for just sitting on ur butt all day talking. But, u gotta make commision though to make $$$. So, its sometimes stressful.

I bug them. I know how they work, its funny. I hate them myself. but, i try to be nice... Lol
