the boy and cow Options

There once was a cow named martha .martha was expecting a baby soon.the babies named would be george.when george was born he was very sick. so sick that the ranch owner shipped him off and sold him to a poor family miles away.martha missed her baby and george missed his mom very much.

the days went bye and the poor family prayed to God that george would live.after spending all their money and putting all their faith in the small helpless cow, they realized he was getting better.bob the youngest child was thrilled. for him the cow was his new best friend.bob suffered from cancer and like the cow the family spent all their money to get the child better.the doctors said bob had 6 months to live.the family never thought about this and went on with their daily lifes.

bob loved george very much. they spent all day together. sleeping lazily under trees and running in the fields.one day george got out and ran away.the boy cried and cried and then realized that he had to be strong and went out and searched for the lost cow. bob found the poor helpless cow in a ditch not too far up the road.george had a broken leg and was moaning in pain.bob felt the pain himself and gave every single muscle in his body to help the cow get back home.after that day bob spent all his time after his chores to help mend the cows broken leg.
the boy could tell his friend anything,he talked about how he had cancer,and of how he was going to die soon.he talked about how he didnt want to leave the cow but had no choice.at night he would sleep with the cow just to make sure he was ok.

one day the cow didnt see the boy. he was worried. this was very strange.despite the cows leg was not fully healed, he broke out of his stall and limped to the boys window.inside the cow saw the boy laying in pain.the boy was telling his mom that before he died he wanted to see george."i want to see george!let me see george!"the boy repeated over and over.the cow had lived his life with every thing he could have asked for.if the boy was going to die he might as well die himself.as the young boys mom went into the kitchen the boy crawled to the window in hopes for a glance of the cow.to his surprise he saw the cow standing at his window.the boy used all his strength and opened the window.the cow lifted his neck for the boy the slide onto his back.the boy stuck his feet out the window sliding on the cow. the bow grabbed his neck and was set for his last ride.there was a canyon up ahead and the cow knew what he was going to do.george nudged the boy asking him for approval and the boy nodded his head grabbing tight and letting the tears run down the cows neck.the cow started slow and picked up speed heading into the sunset.they said there goodbyes and knew this was the last farewell.they had lived together and died together.the cow and the boy forever on earth and in heaven.
