Just wondering. How would you want a guy, or your boyfriend, to propose to you? Or if you're already married, how did your husband propose? Just wanting to see what you guys think.

As for me, hm.. I asked my best guy friend this once, and I was a bit surprised at his answer. He told me that he'd take the girl he loves, onto the top of a tall hill, overlooking the city at night. And he'd have it arranged so that when the time was right, the lights of the city will spell out "Will you marry me?". Lol. I thought that was really sweet.

aww i agree that is sweet! hmm.. havent thought about it that much though. but i would like to be outside with the sunset and the sky all orangey and kinda purplish... he wouldnt get down on his knee but juss hold me and look into my eyes.

i LOVe hockey! i play it occasionalli and i watch EVERY GAME o and the hockey guys ~ so my perfect guy would be playing for the vancouver canucks are montreal canadiens. and then when he wins the stanley cup. he'll call my name down from the crowd and then he'll propose to me on centre ice =)

Well, I wouldn't mind laying in bed with the lights off at like, 3 in the morning talking, and it'll be silent for a while, and we'll both be laying on our backs but my head will be on his chest, and I'd close my eyes and he would kiss my cheek and say "I love you" and then turn, put his arms around me, look me in the eyes, say whatever he wants and then ask me to marry him. Something intimate like that.

Or maybe during a romantic, tear - jerking movie while I'm cuddled next to him and at a CUTE moment in the movie he just puts the ring on my finger, pauses the movie, and says whatever he wants still holding the ring on my finger and then asks to me to marry him

I'd like to be on a huge hill with no one around or miles but a cute little city underneath us.. He'd be sitting on the grass leaning against a tree and id be sitting between his legs with my back on his chest. and then as the sun was setting, and while the stars were winking above us, he'd whisper, I love you, and then, as soon as the sun sank, he'd whisper, will you marry me. After I said yes, I'd kiss him and then we'd do it, but not rough, just very soft and passionate. right on the hilltop, with a blanket.

i would want something like that. completely whimsy and romantic..like in this one movie....i..forget..what movie it was..but the girl worked at this preschool and the guy arranged it so when the girl went out to go say hi to him cause he was on the street, when she turned around the kids would be holding up letters spelling out "will you marry him?" aww it was so cute

Well....like Elba said this isn't a lie when I say I was suppose to get married last year! And, well things don't work out...

Mine wasn't to romantic or anything but, she was laying on my couch and it was pouring down rain. She had skipped class to be with me, and as we layed there. I just spoke from the heart(don't remember what I said), and asked if I could see the ring that she had on her finger. I was like thats a nice ring and took her engagement ring and slipped it on her finger instead of the other ring. She didn't notice at first and finally she turned and screamed! I was so happy then just to see her reaction, she started to cry and weep...almost made me want to cry shoot..haha! But, yeah...thats my story!

maybe you're talking about meet the parents? or no..coz i remember in the beginning he gets the kids to do that, but they spell it all wrong and then when they get it right, shes on the phone and says somethng about asking the dad first.

hmm..as for me..hm....i remember i was at disneyland and there were fireworks going off. and the fireworks usually take place right in front of sleeping beauty's castle. and this guy took the girl there when the fireworks were going off in front of the castle and proposed to her. everyone was watching them instead of the fireworks, but i thought that was so romantic .

i want it to be almost like.. i dunno, like in a movie. like us and our friends are all sitting together laughing, having a party or something, and then we start talking about our fave places to be or something, and my fiance-to-be says "oh, well, you're going there in a few months you know." i look befuddled, and he goes on... " you didnt know? (his name) is taking you there on your honeymoon" i begin to understand but am still quite confused, and he pulls out a ring "he wants to be with you for the rest of his life"
