so tell me whats ur favorite(s) disney movies??? this came up cuz i just finished watching the lion king 1 1/2. lOl!
mines are: Mulan snow white cinderella little mermaid lilo & stitch anastasia (mostly for the songs) sleeping beauty finding nemo (especially dory(sp?)) ETc. |

almost all of disneys movies, have subliminal messages in them.
little mermaid has a male Member on the cover of it. alladin says "all good teenagers take off your clothes" rescures down under , you can see a topless women in a window. lion king you can see a pot leaf, and words that spell "SEX" in the dust. Wizard of Oz has a munchkin trying to hang himself in the back. and people wonder why we are so messed up.

u know wat no matter wat anyone thinks aladdin was the best - it had the genie (a big blue version of robin williams) abu (a crazy monkey) aladdin (the star of the show who is just a street rat dressed in a princes clothes - too cool) and jasmine (who is by far the most beautiful animated princess ever)

Nope, Anatasia wasn't a Disney movie but it is one of my favorite movies!
Umm... I think I'm going to say The Little Mermaid... because back when I was a little kid I had everything... I had the lunchbox the movie... the bed set.... and the doll... I was so cool... ...but that was then...  Aww the Emperor's New Groove was good, also... and Hahahaha Podo! hey but didn't you know that the Wizard of Oz is an allegory? and it represented real situations in symbolic terms... So the Wonderful Wizard of Oz represents the political, economic, and social situation in the 1890's....

Mulan and Atlantis... GOTTA Love the Computer Animations/Cartoon combinations in these movies. Also, fantastic storyline, characters, and voice actors. Atlantis was definitely hilarious, and Mulan.. gotta love Eddie Murphy. He did so well as a voice actor for that little Dragon.
I also liked Treasure Planet. I thought the movie was going to be dumb because of the goofy characters (not counting the boy), but I was so wrong. The movie was awesome. Just as good as Atlantis. I also liked Sleeping Beauty. I always liked that movie when I was little. And of course, Toy Story 1. |

-Finding Nemo
-Mulan -Lion King Last Tuesday, our media - animation class got a invitation from the Disney archives to come visit. Our school is next to the Disney studio which produces cartoons and animated films. So we only had to cross the street. Was pretty big, so once we were in, OMFG... We saw original artwork done on movies back to Snow White. And I mean ORIGINAL artwork done by mr. w disney and the original animators. We even got to get to hold and read his personal journal. We got to learn alotta stuff on the history too. It was kinda funny cause the original artworks we got to see were worth about $50,000 and there were many of them to be kept not to be sold but as archived for disney. Haha one of the coolest things though was getting to hold one of the OSCARS which walt disney won. Its heavier than we all think. But its kinda cool knowing that walt disney held it and i got to hold it... like some years later... I soo wish I had my camera that day. |

I also forgot to mention Beauty and the Beast now THAT was a cool movie hehes I loved it. It was a movie for hopeless romantics =P The fact that she still cared for him, even if he was a beast. No offense, but any remake or Beauty and the Beast Xmas Special RUINED the movie. Only A FEW remakes are actually good.
Okay so: ICE AGE, Beauty and the Beast, Mulan, and the Nightmare Before Christmas I could watch those over and over again =D I liked MULAN only becuase it was based on a real event, right? That's what I heard. It has NOTHING to do with the fact that she's asian. m@dcow, please don't sya that you like because she was asian becuase if so, then you MISSED the whole pooint of the movie. It proved that anything was possible if you fight for it, that a girl can do a man's job too, and that you are who you want to be. What others thin of you doesn't matter, it's what you think of yourself that counts. That's what the songs really meant, if you watched the movie. Don't judge them about whether they're about your race or not. |

i absolutely loved pocahontas and Mulan. altho the second pocahontas really disppointed me because i wanted the gurl to get with john smith, not that rolfe guy.
 i agree with you just_dream. mulan shouldnt be liked because its an asian movie... but mulan is a fantastic movie. loved that weerd mean evil guy that was the emperor's side. he is like sooooo stupid and funny ahha

For me it's two of them, first it's The Lion King(original) and
the next gots to be Lilo and Stitch, I got used to watching that movie cuz mai nephew came and watched it like 4 or 5 times. |
