if its light then you can go swimming cuz the water blocks the flow. i did it yesterday at the gym, it works. but it starts again as soon as you get out of the water.

If it's not flooding... and the blood is just splotchy... then its light. And def. use a tampon or else your blood will be in the pool along with the other water. Lol.

4th day? personally I wouldnt because mines still somewhat heavy on the 4th day..but it all depends on how long your period lasts. If it only lasts 4-5 days..go for it. If it lasts more than 6 days Id say stay away from the water or use a tampon.

okay no offence but thats just..really wrong..if other people are in the pool they're gonna be swimming in your period bacteria or whatever. waterflow stops periods but..thats bad for you, too..remember its not WATER here its chlorine..chlorine-water is chemical infested so your going to have all these weird chemicals up in your vag. you can get sick from that..oh and really bad cramps too.

And why wouldn't the chemicals go up there when you're not on your period?

Try a tampon.

wow..who would pee in the water???? huh.gif mellow.gif

nevermind. my mom told me this story of when she wa slike 20 and my dad pushed her into a pee infested public pool and she accidently gulped down a mouthful of water.

i went to this one public pool where if you pee the water around you turns green. so everybody knows you peed happy.gif

I've been using tampons every since I got my first period because it was right before my birthday and the day before my birthday party at the pool! I didn't like them at first but I prefer them over pads now. To me, pads feel like diapers and tampons are so much more comfortable but be careful that you insert the tampon correctly and don't leave it in for too long. You can get a serious infection if you do. Goodluck =]

yeaaaaah, but your vag. is more sensitive when your on your period. which makes it more prone to infections. its better to be considerate for other people cus its just nasty for other people in the pool if you dont wear a tampon cus your period germs are flying everywhere.

Ohhh. Hey, you learn something knew every day. wink.gif
