here's a quick question, how do you start up small talk? like there's this one girl i like but i can never talk to her when we're just one on one in a room or something. i can talk to her when we're in a group but not one on one. it pisses me off becuas a lotta people say i can get her but everytime when i'm with her i just choke and think my chances decrease.

Just start by saying hi and ask her a few "get to know you" kinda questions...Pay attention to her answers and when you find something interesting, ask her more about it... For example be like, Do you have a job, and if she says yes, ask what she does...That sort of thing

Just talk with her like you'd talk with any other person in that situation. you're just overthinking it...and so what if you make a fool of yourself? Girls think it's cute sometimes...I think. Shows how much you really like them.

ok well... if you wanna start up a conversation with her, simply ask her things you think she would be interested in.. not anything too boylish like monster truck shows or wrestling.. but cool stuff.. if you tell her she smells good she will immediatly warm up to you. good luck with this girl. y'all sound cute together!

or when ur talking to her get a friend in the background to hold up promts on stuff to talk bout yeh????....hehehe |

if you know her name, or if you think you know her name, you could try something more along the lines of "it's (insert name here), right?" and if you're wrong, they'll correct you, if you're not they'll say yes and either they'll know your name, or you can tell them. from there, music makes a pretty good common topic. don't even think about politics. books if you like to read, internet, classes. whatever comes to mind. |

well first dont be so nervous.. tell urself to chill out.. and then think.. there has to be things tat u ppl have in common since u ppl hang out in a group be4.. try to talk about things that interest her or you.. get to know each other.. u can like ask her what she likes and find out things about her and have her learn a thing or two about u..

ask her what she likes to do for fun idk...anything...ask her about the homework or what she got on her test in bio....just anything that you can relate to

Talk about food. Can't go wrong with food! Unless she's on a diet or has a eating disorder. Or talk about school or something. School just started for me, and if it did for you, ask her what classes she's taking blah blah. Don't overdo it though because no one wants to talk all about school since many peopel loathe school lol.
You should ask her how her day was. IMO, since I'm a girl, often, girls love to talk about themselves and about their lives. Just ask her something simple. If you stop being shy around her, then she'll stop being shy around you =D |
