Nothing really happens to freshmen here.
Probably because of how our grade system is.

7-9 = jr. high.
10-12= high school.

So, yeah. You're technically a freshie, but you're the "top dog" or whatever you want to call it.

HELL YEA that happens at my school!!! well...two years ago. i was a sophomore. we have open lunch, and me and my friends were jsut sitting down and eating and we notice this HUGE group of upperclassmen being so loud. turns out they were finding freshman to can. it was quite amusing to witness this

my schools more of a waterballooning community nothings happened to me..but some people get hit with balloons filled with bleach..poor things.

theres also this 'freshman wall' Our school is 2 stories with a basement. and on the third staircase, it leads down onto the first floor, and there are stairs that look like they'd lead to the basement..but it only goes to a wall..haha i feel bad for the people who get stuck down there.

a couple years ago some guys from the varsity lax team took a couple of the freshmen guys to a nearby park, tied them to a tree, and left them without their clothes.

they only pick on the freshmen guys. the girls are off limits. but i'm a sophomore now so regardless, it's all good.

i forgot to mention about our little prank on them during orientation...

so orientation comes about a week before school starts. basically the freshman are there for half a day and get to attend like 10 min classes. anyway, upperclassmen and SGA officers help out, organizing stuff. so we're there and we start off the day by welcoming them with the whole lot gathered in the auditorium. and then we ask them to join us in playing a game. we call up volunteers to take part in a trivia game of our school. we ask questions that well...you prolly wouldnt know the answers to unless you attend our school. so these freshman are stumped. of course majority of the time they're wrong. for that, we reward them with a whole pie....in their face

yes, we are rather mean to freshman. however im surprised we get them EVERY year with that 'game'

Nope...the people here at WHS are nice..well most of them anyways..and I try not to be mean..haha. :D

But on the first day of school, there are spray paints on the walls and sidewalks, saying "GO BACK TO MIDDLE SCHOOL!" And toilet paper all around the trees...its nothing that bad..

I passed for a junior in my fish year....i miss fish year..it was FUN! :D haha

yes i heard of it =) usually pennies get thrown at AND some eggs with paint or so inside. its gross, but the fun gets spoiled after teachers and such come out

yea freshmen friday is awesome. I've never been canned but Last year (my jr year) me and 1 of my frends canned this freshmen we sort of knew haha...dont u just love it when freshmens act all hard,and then making them feel like idiots :-p

not true over here though, but probably schools with lack of security might have it though. i've been thru the best school in my state, and now i'm probably in the worse districts in the entire nation... but neither of my high schools had those.

I've heard of freshman friday, but I've never heard anyone do that at our school.

Hah abut this one guy (he was senior in '03) said that he threw alot of guys, who just joined the badminton team, into the trashcan. ID if it's true though, so deep down, I don't really belive him. But he has the strength to do it (eep muscles)

today i actually survived Freshman Friday at my school, ive heard stories of them throwing eggs at ppl while walking to school, canning kids in garbage cans, pouring chocolate milk all over you. every time i heard a upperclass student say FF i would walk faster, and if u was caught in Freshman Hall by yourself sucks for u. and the only thing techers told us was to stay in groups, and i was like that just gives them more ppl at once.

nopes never happened at my school that i know of. although we have a special day for "torturing" our little freshman >.< the upperclassmen get to dress them up...not that big a deal...pretty funny though

lol we had that last yr it was supposed to be fun but some freshman started talking trash so it turned into like a sophmore vs freshman fight.... and we got help from the seniors to hahahahahha that was so funny we jumped the mess out of them ..it was not liike a really fight but you know it was like a play jumped so we did not really beat them up but they were so scared i think the freshy class this year needs that because they such a big class

THere was this kid who got beat up in the schoolyard really badly, his nose was bleeding, his arm was cut, and i dont htink he could walk. THey called the ambulance.

our skool hates the freshmen.. & we want freshmen fridays, but we have monitors & cameras around the skool.. we REALLY want 2 trash some freshmens cuz theyre annoying & they think theyre all kool juss cuz they r in high skool.. psh!.. us sophmores asked the juniors if we were annoying last year & they said we were pretty kool.. but they juss cant stand this year's freshmen.. everyone cant..

in my school it wasnt really freshman fridayy but like they let out live chickens.. and what else.. hmm.. and like 2,000 fart bombs o.0 and they PUT A FEW IN ONE CLASSROOM IN MY MIDDLE SCHOOL.. it happened to be my ENGLISH classroom *dies* and once my friend's brother was in a food fight in our school and there were dead geese thrown around... oh and they hang used condoms on the walls

Nope, not in SO CAL. I know people down here have better things to do then harass little kids. I believe it usually happens where life in that city/state is extremely boring so people have to invent stupid holidays to cure it.
