No. I go to a strict private school. Uniforms and everything. They make us swallow gum if they catch us, and usually they do. If they catch you a 3rd time its detension. But on special days like Stdent Appreciation Day we chew as much gum as we want!

Depends on what team you get on.
For last year, only team 7-3 could chew gum, and unfortunately I was on team 7-2. I snuck it, of course! You could chew it in some trimester classes, though last year.

This year, my team (8-3) lets us chew gum as long as we keep it in our mouths and it isn't distracting.
Yay, no more sneaking around.

I never got caught last year, mwahahaha.
The only classes you can't chew it in are computer classes and music classes.. but I still chew gum there.

no mine doesnt. my school is very strict so strict you wouldnt think it was a public school the dress code is ridiulous but anyways back to the gum since my school is filled with such 'bad' kids they think that if we chew gum we will automatically put the gum on the desks and stuff when wer'e done with them gum. if they actually let us chew gum we prolly wouldnt stick the gum on the desks because we wouldnt want the gum priveledge taken away but i guess wer'e just stupid kids who need to be disciplined.
