don't you just love it when you do the right thing when you know you could have done the wrong thing and gotten away with it?

today i returned some shoes that i bought a little less than a month ago (during tax free week...a texas thing). the shoes cost $54 so that's all i paid when i bought them. however, when i went to return them today, the cashier gave me $59 because he gave me tax money that i didn't pay. so being the good guy that i am, i was like "hey, i didn't pay this much for these shoes." and he realized that i was right and said. "wow thanks for being so honest. there aren't many people like you nowadays."

i don't have the $5 that i could have used to buy lunch or something, but i know i did the right thing, and that's all that matters

Hm.. well idk.. I could've cheated on some tests but I chose not to.. I could've gotten away w/ using SparkNotes.com on an essay but I chose not to even though my bf and other ppl gotten away with it.

Oh and other things i jut do it because I know I should. This one guy (that everyone makes fun of cause he stinks so much @_@) was walking and dropped his schedule. while he was trying to stick it in his back pocket. I saw it drop from the corner of my eye and no one even bothered to pick it up! I ran over to it and picked it up, then ran over to him and tapped him on the shoulder. I said "Hey, you dropped your schedule." And he said "thank you."

Yep, alot of people looked at me really wierd because of that lol. But I mean, I did that because I know it was important to him.

Your very honest. I however am the opposite.

One time I brought a game magazine and it cost 10 dollars. I gave him a $20 dollar bill. He gave me back $20 dollar Bill. I just left the store and made a profit of $10 dollars. laugh.gif laugh.gif
