Entries, I don't want it to be see through.... Options

alright, this is a bit confusing, but I amg going to try and describe this as good as I can....I want like a background color on my entries. like having them in a box...I don't want it to be see through and you can see the background I have on my actual xanga...like this xanga. this xanga see how this person has black box behind her words instead of her words just being on the pink stars?? how do you get that box thing?!!!
