u see how http://www.xanga.com/home.aspx?user=ashOlee .. her xanga has the chatterbox on the left sidebar, above the subscriptions...

.. how can u add that?

Try..

Disabling the left modules, adding custom modules.. and place code of the chatterbox in a module.
