hey i need you guy's help on this one..here's the story: i liked this guy for 2 years..and i guess u can say i annoyed my best friend by telling her all these things, all the time (like "wow..he's cute..." stuff like that)..well in the second yr i started liking him she decided she wanted to get to know him, as well...she still kept sayig bad things about him but i just brushed it off..however, in this dance we had at school she kept dancing with him and all this other stuff that kinda annoyed me but i just let it go...anywho, i told him i liked him ..and he supposedly likes me too..but then my best friend comes telling me that she likes him too...(even tho i knew cuz it was so obvious)..and she goes telling him she likes him too..ok, i admire and respect my best friend so much, and i know i cant do anything to stop someone else's feelings...but it really annoys me when she tells me all these things like "what if he asks me out"..or " i wanna look pretty for him"...i definately dont want to lose friendship over a boy..but how do i tell her these things are annoying me?..am i just being a cruel, selfish person?..also...i think the boy we both like is starting to feel really uncomfortable with all this ..and i dont want to lose him...i really really liked this guy for 2 yrs and even said no to other boys who asked me out...but its not like he asked me out yet
 ...what do i do? ...(sorry this is so long but thank you for reading it.)

eh i kinda skipped around but hopefully i read the important parts.....
First of all boys arent worth losing a best friend over ;] second heh...well u saw him first your best friend should let u get him..... and third.....u cant really blame her if she made a move,u take too damn long haha |

Hm.
I think both of you should just find other guys. But that's hard to do.. I know from experience. I was in a very similar situation at the end of the school year last year. It reaaaaaally sucked. Except the other girl wasn't my best friend, but anyway. I just moved on to another crush, and it turned out well. I think you should tell her how you feel about all of this. It's good to tell her that so she knows how much it bothers you. I would move on, and hope that she does the same.

its not worth losing a friendship over a person, it might last about 1 month or so but thats basically it while a friendship could last for awhile. just tell her how you feel about what shes doing and then see how things goes

i`ve always picked my bestfriend over a guy mostly in any situation... but at another perspective... i don`t understand how she was dissing the guy in the first place and she KNOWS you like him then she starts to like him??
sounds kinda weird to me  anyways... i think you should just tell her that sometimes things get you annoyed and if she really is your bestfriend, then she SHOULD be able to understand and learn that what goes around comes around [you being annoyed and her being annoyed]

You waited long enough already! It's been two years! Just make your move and get over it. If you get rejected, well you already know the answer and just move on and get another guy. If you love and respect your best friend, both of you should get together and talk about this. If she chose to ignore you and continues to flirt with him, then I guess it's time to get a new best friend because well really, a guy isn't worth fighting for. I rather keep my best friend than lose her over a guy. It's just plain stupid. |
