Does anyone here own an aquarium?

-- I do, it's twenty usg and I keep livebearers and corydora catfish in there.

Well, we did for a while, but all our fish died.
We had a freshwater tank.

I used to. I had freshwater fish. They were like goldfish, gupies, angel fishes, and little tiny sharks.

i used to have an aquarium and had tropical fish but suddenly i got sick of watching fishes swim around... and i also got sick of salmon-_-;; i had this dream that i was eating a salmon but suddenly blood came out of it and it was talking to me T_T;;;; and the meat in my mouth...it was moving around....augh and when i woke up... i went to the bathroom and throw up for reals-_-

i want a aquarium, i have to walk to the one in town, which is kinda ghetto. But i like sea life park. But yeah I want a personal aquarium.

i want to have an aquirum thats like 100 gallons or more with lots of rare and tropical fish and plants and shieeet. ^^ and the water is so clear its like your in it. haha. but nOo i have a small 1 gallon fish tank. -.- and fat fish. -.- but i love em anyway. haha. its freSh wata! ^^ with freSh goldfishes! haah no i have one thats almost a year old and 2 that are like..10 months?? dunno.

We used to have fish back when we lived in Japan... which was like errmmm... 4 years ago... I'm not really sure what kind of fish we had... but I think we had some koi fish or whatever... oh yeah, and I bought my boyfriend one of those fighter fish (I think that's what they're called)... and it was freshwater...

anyways. i dont have anymore guppies, but i do have goldfish and bettas. m uncle owns a fish store so its easy to get fish. and i had to work there for a couple of years

Yes I do.. there's like a hundred fish.. they're tropical I think. Most of them.

We used to have one. Man, all those poor fish. My sister got this silver, 'I'm-Gonna-Kill-All-Da-Fishies-In-Da-Tank' psycho fish named 'Orbit.' He killed the algae eaters we got, like all 20 of them. So my mom decides to get some shrimp to help clean up the algae on the tank.

Not a good idea, I say, but does she listen? NEWP! So the next morning, 3/4 of the shrimp are missing. Yeah. That's what I thought too.

So yeah, I don't do fish anymore. Lol

However, we used to have an aquarium for another pet - a snake

I HAD a freshwater aquarium full of those goldfishes that look like they have tumors on their heads. But they died... I suppose those were tumors.

Sadly, I never got a fish tank thing..But I find the real aquariums very peaceful ;D

Nope...i had a fishbowl though..it was the water which we had that it was living in and then we mixed it with water that comes from the sink.. haha

i have a half a gallon one :) but wen i was little my dad use to have this fish it was 4 feet long and we had a maid and she accidentally pulled the oxygen thingy .. and that happened in the philippines so dont go off thinking im rich cus i use to have a maid

Yes, in fact I do have an aquarium. I have a Siamese Fighting Fish, algae eater, a kissing gourami, two weird giraffe spotted fishies, and a Red eared Slider turtle.

I have no clue why or how but they just get along.

Back in the day I had a freshwater 50 gallon tank. It had 3 huge tiger oscars and an algae eater in it. one of the tiger oscars got a disease called hole in the head. It's some kind of bacteria that literally eats a hole in the head. They all got it and died.

yep...those mediam tanks it was for my turtles...themn we put fish in it...the tutrles ate them..then my mom sold the turtles..then the fishes dies....[then we bought new fished thehn they dies]x4

we just have a 50 gallon fish tank with some goldfish that the turtle allowed to live. My aunt actually has like a pond styled tank that's complete with dirty water and GIANT goldfish and plants and crap

Lol. We have 3. One of them contains community/semi-aggressive, one has cichlids and one has a big huge carnivorous fish and his BIG FAT goldfish friend. He's an Albino Oscar and he is GIGANTIC. We feed him little goldfish and he eats like 7 at a time. One of them is a 10 gallon, one is 20, and one is 40. Each is twice as big as the other, hehe. Lots of money we spent on fish...

But it died because my brother over-feed it .

When I was a toddler, we had a big tank. There were two fish left. One bit off the other's eye. Next day they were both dead. Not a happy ending. :(

I have an aquariam. :) 10 gallon freshwater, with my fish Sunny D in it. And at my old house i had a 90 gallon saltwater that my stepdad and I kept up. I loved it. But we had to leave it behind :( I also have a 20 gallon saltwater here, but no fish in it yet. lol

My boyfriend wants to start a saltwater tank, but isn't it harder to maintain? I don't have an aquarium, but my boyfriend does. He currently has a 100 gallon and 3 10 gallon freshwater tanks with all kinds of fish (flower horn, angelfish, arowanas, discus, etc). Eh, he really likes fish.

I have never kept a saltwater tank before but expirienced saltwater aquarists do admit that saltwater tanks are noticeably harder to keep than freshwater tanks.
