i dont like books. i love them!! They are my best buddies. Whenever I read a book, I'm lost in a different world/time/space/adventure. I dont feel like I live where I live. I'm driven to a different world. Of course i love the Harry Potter series, but one of my favorites is A Tree Grows in Brooklyn by Betty Smith. GREAT book. Another very good book is Feed by M.T. Anderson. And another one by that same author is Thisrty (its about a boy who's turning into a vampire from his perspective.) Another good, classic book is The Secret Garden. Catalyst by Laurie Halse Anderson is very good, also.

As you can see, I'm a book worm! If I'm not reading a book, I feel depressed and lonely, b/c the charachters in the books are like my second friends happy.gif READ! Its fundamental. tongue.gif

Ah, I read Thirsty.. I thought that was pretty good..

A few good ones:

The Year of the Secret Assignments
Just Ella
The Giver
Wicked

Series:

The Wind Singer
His Dark Materials
Harry Potter
Anything by L.J. Smith
Claidi's Journals
Anything by R.A. Salvatore

Ehm.. I have more, but I don't remember titles all that well, and I don't want to bore you.

and.. Catalyst was good, but I liked Speak more.

Reading relaxes me. I like being in another place once in a while.

I love it when it's cold outside and snowing and I'm sitting at the Starbucks in Barnes&Noble just reading and drinking coffee.

I love reading, I've been reading these books since I started school and I get asked almost every day by someone new asking me how I like to read. I read at lunch instead of eating most of the time too.

I like sci fi, fantasy, teen fiction, adult books, mystery, horror, christian fiction, etc.

^I have to agree with Kathleen, if you didn't like to read you wouldn't be here. This requires reading, although I'm sure most of us pin pointed that he meant books, which makes you a bad person because then you would be failing school more than likely. laugh.gif

I've only begun to pick up the reading again recently, but I LOVE it. Especially the buy two, get one free deal at Barnes and Noble for their B&N Classic. (hehe.gif) I've finally moved beyond the teen section and into the Classics. There's just so much sophistication to these older books that aren't just relate-able on a omg-high-school-sucks level, like in Gossip Girl. There are the downsides - like the fact that Plato's Republic is turning out to be a toooon more boring than I expected, but there are some really interesting theories I can finally look into in depth.

I love books.
I can spend all day in a bookstore or a library.

Borders is like, a candy store to me.

I used to read A LOT in middle school but I don't so much anymore. But I'm trying to get back into it. Right now, I'm reading "Without You" by Anthony Rapp. They guy who played Mark in "Rent". It's pretty good so far biggrin.gif

Depends. If they're interesting, of course, I love em! If they're boring and I'm forced to...not so much.

Actually, yes, I do like books, but the only time I read is when there's a book that sparks my interest. There's never any books that can keep me interested in it enough to want to finish it. :(

i hate books. i cant read for enjoyment. when I was a kid, I made it my objective to learn how to read faster than all the kids just so i can get through the page faster. but if you ask me what the hell i just read, i wouldnt have a clue.

the next page, i'd be like "Jimmy you motard, hurry the hell up."

I'm sorry Jimmy.

Love them. If I don't read a book it makes me feel like my life is bland.
