I'm basically a hip hopper but very diverse with music anyway. I do some pop, a ton of R&B, some alternative, and some rock... Coldplay, since I heard Clocks, I became a fan... they're my favorite group period outside of hip hop music. They're phenomenal - I copped the real versions of Parachutes and A Rush of Blood to the Head and both are CLASSIC CLASSIC music albums.... AMAZING is the best word to describe them... if ya'll ain't heard that song Moses yet by them, you're missin' out... that song's CRAZY... go peep it

Then I got into Evanescence when I heard the song Wake Me Up Inside or whatever the name of the song is... then I eventually heard the album in someone's car - at least a 'lil more of it - and ended up coppin' that album... that album is AMAZING as well IMO, though I like Coldplay's albums more.....

Hoobastank, I just got into recently.... and I can't even officially say I'm into them... I hadn't ever given them a chance until I saw the video for the Reason and heard the song... pretty good is what I was thinkin'... then, muh boy got Madden 2005 and they have a song on it called Same Direction I believe... that song is SICK... so I ended up downloading a few more of their songs and find out that this song called Running Away and Crawling in the Dark are by them... both of the songs are pretty dope... anyway, I think I'm gonna try to get into them and give 'em more of a listen... (requests if possible)

other artist I listen to outside of rap/R&B:
- Justin Timberlake's album was dope as hell... though most of his album was more R&B'ish anyway
- Michelle Branch's first album was dope... I haven't really listened to her new album but Breathe was dope as hell and Are You Happy Now was cool... some of the other songs I heard I wasn't really feelin'
- Linkin' Park is dope as hell.... ummm... I think that's it...
- I like a few songs by Blink 182 - Adam's Song especially

umm... I guess that's it...

if any of ya'll think that there's some music I could get into based on what I like from here, throw some suggestions and songs from those artist 'n I'll peep 'em 'n tell ya'll what I think... if I dun' like it, I'ma be honest though so dun' be offended...

Stay up...

nah... never listened to Yellow Card

the reason I think I respect Coldplay the most is because they sound just as good if not better live than on the albums.... it's weird because you know they're live cuz you can hear some flaws in the vocals but still, they're SO much better... not many people are close to as good as the album quality because their sh*t is so watered down... IMO, they're the best live band... not because they're so rockin' like Metalica but just the quality of the sound you get and how close it is to mastered version

*Squeal* Coldplay is godly. worthy.gif They're so different from anything out there. Yeah, The Used is awesome, too, as someone mentioned above. I have their first CD. You should try listening to Billy Talent if you like live music, because they kick ass live and sound just as good on the CD itself. Try downloading "The River Below," "Try Honesty," or "Lies," if you're interested. They're not that big yet. Taking Back Sunday's pretty popular, and they have talent to back it. I saw them live, too, and they're awesome. Mmm they just came out with a new CD. I didn't get it yet, but "A Decade Under the Influence," is great, as well as classics like, "You're So Last Summer," or, "Bike Scene." wink.gif That's all I have for now. Haha.

hoobastank - i only like one of their songs. "the reason". i guess its because i havent heard any other. but i dont really have an interest in them. they're not that Rock. if yu know wat i mean.

coldplay - they're good. not a big fan. i like their songs "clock" and..."science" wait its not called science. i just dont really remember the title. but SCIENCE came into mind. hahah silly me.

evanescence - i love amy lee and i guess her band too. but i actually just like amy cuz shes a very strong singer. she sings good. i like a lot of her songs like "my immortal" , "bring me to life" , "imaginary" , "broken" wid seether. i think thats it. plus..shes rock! woohoo!

It was called the Scientist. I like Coldplay. Indeed, they are different. I love the song called "Don't Panic" the song is from the Garden State soundtrack. I love the Gardent State soundtrack. Anyway, if you love Coldplay, you should totally listen to Frou Frou's Let Go. It's a bit hard to get into but if you listen to that song a few times, it grows in you. Very very nice song. Oh and you can totally listen to Travis's Love Will Come Through, that's a good song as well. Hah. All of them are from the Garden State soundtrack or trailer or whatever. Yeah, that's all.
