colored scrollbars Options

i'm in a very ranting mood today :)
sorry i have not been posting here a lot.

anyway. i hate it when people say, 'OMG Y ARENT UR SCROLLBARS COLORED@??1'.

i use firefox.
since when did the color of a scroll bat determine the quality of a site?
but, really. they don't matter. you can still read the text.
no. i will not color my scroll bars just for the poor souls who still using internet explorer.
please notice that there ARE people who use firefox and netscape (haha).

800x600 is not the only screen size in the world.


am i the only own who is upset about this?

i use IE because the majority of internet users use it. therefore the most visitors you get are from IE. i hate it when firefox people come to my site and is like all up my ass about how my site is incompatible with their browser. who said my site was coded for your freaking browser? grow up. this doesnt mean you btw but yeah i wanted to rant too because some kid was giving me a hella hard time about it.

seriously if people dont like the way your site looks, then theres a simple solution to that:

eh, i don't really care about scrollbars because the browser i'm using doesn't show colored scrollbars. but sometimes, when i do go on IE, i'd like my scrollbars to look nice

i use ie because its on my computer and im used to it. but i do have some sort of wierd resolution and a lot of things misaligned, but i try not to b!tch about it too much...i dont think people usually do acknowlage browsers like firefox because theyre not that common and whats the point if you could use ie anyway? not you, just generally

my scrollbars dont have color :im using mozilla: i ono why but its nice to know that some people might be enjoying my scrollbars, so i just put it in color anyway.

i use both ie and firefox but on firefox, the positioning stuff is out of place

but i think colored scrollbars make your site look a little nicer

firefox/mozilla are gaining rapid popularity.
IE displays a lot of errors. i think it is nice to have your site coded so it works because well, it looks nicer and you mgiht get more visitors coming back. it's more professinal.
i DO have IE. i use to veiw how my site in IE and check if there is anything wrong with it. but that's pretty much it.

i dont think colored scroll bars are that big of a deal. you can still read the text and grahpics still look good. i have gotten used to scrollbars with no colors.

Mine are always multi-colored.. to fit with my layout.. I think it looks better that way, but that's just me..

i always have my scrollbar colored on my xanga, just cause i think it looks prettier that way but its not like i go crazy if a site i go to doesnt have a colored scrollbar. heck, i barely even look at the scrollbar since i got a scroller thing on my mouse.

my scrollbars are..there. lol it shouldnt matter what colour they are. its the qriting that you read..you dont go to a site and stare at the scroll bar.

I use firefox & netscape too... I don't think the color of your scrollbars even really matter... It's the content of the site that matters. Scrollbars can make a site look semi-nicer though... if you're using IE, that is.
