Make new friends during class!! That is the best way!! Also joining clubs and sports would help too

don't be scared! once you get the hang of high school it can be fun...sometimes...

i'd advise you to get all your work done on time, don't procrastinate, be outgoing so you can make new friends, and to NOT pick fights with upper classmen. no matter how obnoxious or stupid they can be.

i hated high school for the first few months but eventually i adapted and got into the swing of things. don't sweat it. you'll be fine

Im a freshman too, but I dont think I can really help you out with it because the school i go to is an elementary, jr high and high school combined. Ive been at the same place all my life, never had to make new friends. theres about 900 students total in the whole school. I love going to a tiny school

Don't be scared, it'll be fine. Just try to make new friends in all your classes. Talk to people. That's my advice.

im a freshman and i started yesterday! its not as bad as i thought! the seniors dont even pick on us at all. to make friends just talk to people in class or join a club. eh i dont know all the people in my class but theres like a couple in each that went to my middle school the year before so im kinda good. good luck on your first day!!

my cousin told me that freshman year is a bit like 6th grade also, except (what brownsugar08 said) its more... "independent" on yourself.. in a way? in middle school, you know everyone and everyone knows you. But in hs, its like... you're in these little cliques of 3-7 people and you only hang out mainly with that group.. if you're not careful and you act all bizatchy and crap, you get rivals easily, if you screw up with homework, you get a worse rep easily, if you screw with upperclassmen, you get a bad rep, etc..
But, if you're all around kind and a good person and you try really hard at being a good student, then it'll be a sinch for you.
