I have a question.....My parents make me and my twin do tons of stuff around the house..like we have to empty/fill the dishwasher..set/clear the table..bring out garbage. We also have to (every weekend) clean the upstairs and downstairs of our house..like vacuum, dust, mop, clean toilets/sinks/showers, clean sheets...wow too much to say...

I was just wondering if anyone else's parents make them do all this crazy stuff??

It's not really crazy, I mean you're part of the family,and you should do your part...ur parents provide a roof over your head, and food to eat, so it's only right that you do your part. My parents tell me to do lots of stuff like that, just probably not as often as you because i'm out of the house a lot.

Yeah, my parents make me do chores like that... I don't really mind though because I know they do a lot more for me.

Plus, it's probably better for me to go about doing household chores than just sitting in front of the computer like I usually do.

Stupid guys like throwing me into walls and breaking my bed when they're over. My family is weird, you can called me "spoiled" but I work about 9 hours as hostess so my mom hired a live-in nanny [she's such a business person]. I do enjoy washing dishes and doing laundry. Why should I do chores when I could be working 9 hours in a restaurant and goofing off with my "older brothers"?

i completely agree...i have to do all that stuff AND more and i don't get paid anything...well i do...but not in my hand money wise. they give me food, they give me money when i need clothes or want to go to the movies...they provide a home for me, and keep a roof over my head. So, my gratefulness is being forced to do the chores, which is fine. I'll deal with it.

I have chores, too. If you don't, you're a spoiled piece of $hit. I have to clean/vacuum my room, vacuum the couch, vacuum the floor, vacuum the chairs (my cat sleeps on them), and clean the bathroom. It only takes ehh, 2 hours, so it's not that bad. I mean, c'mon, it's a great deal for shelter, food, money, clothes, love ( ), etc. Don't complain.
