A panda walks into a bar. He eats some food, shoots a customer, and promptly leaves.

The next day, the same panda comes back, eats some food, shoots a customer, and leaves.

After a few days of this, the shocked bartender finally asks the panda, "Why do you keep shooting my customers?!"

The panda tells him to look in the dictionary.

"Noun
1. panda - A large black and white animal from the bamboo forests of China and Tibet. Eats shoots and leaves."

The only reason the book is named that is because of that joke. It's a pretty old one, but it still makes me laugh =)
