Who saw all the conutries come in last night? Some countries brought a whole city (cough Argentinia, Russia, USA, Greece cough).
Well anyhoo, I think Ethiopia will take home gold in track and field =). I think I saw them training when I went there. Who do you think will take the gold in each event? |

The opening was the most spectacular thing I think I have seen. The flamming arrow lighting the water on fire, it was all just insane.

I just hope my country(Portugal) wins something. We lost against Iraq in Mens soccer. The people from Iraq were being real mean. They threw stuff at one of our players and kept boo-ing us.

I really liked the opening ceremony... very meaningful and I especially liked the as was the case in ancient times with the Olympic Truce, the Games will convey a message of peace and over ten thousand athletes will be living together without any distinction of races, religions or customs parts of the speech.
