Has anyone seen Garden State? It's an indie film that marked Zack Braff's first directorial debut. It opened up in Los Angeles and New York already, but yeah...I don't live in neither. The trailer looks awesome and I think it has potential to be a good movie. If anyone has seen it, tell me if it's good or not!

^^ trailer.

Oh, the soundtrack's also really good. :)

Yeah I want to see it, too. It'll probably open in all theatres soon once and if it gets big. I hope so. It looks interesting. They said they shot it all in twenty-five days. That's crazy.

Whoo! I finally saw this movie yesterday. It was really good. Natalie Portman is sooo cute! wub.gif Ohh, ooh! And the Such Great Heights acoustic version was in it; it sounds very slow without the "beeping" beat.

Garden State is a great movie. Zach Braff has proved to be a great director on top of being a very skilled actor. I love independent films, And this one doesn't fall short from great. The ending was a tad cheesy, But it works. Soundtrack is awesome as well...Bought it two days ago...Everyone download 'Frou Frou- Let Go', It's one of the best songs on it.

Okay, I'll bump the thread that was the first made and the most replied to on Garden State.

For those of you that have seen it, which I see is plenty, what was your favorite scene?

Haha, I liked the arrow scene. It makes me all tingly inside.

EDIT//
Ohh, ohh! And what is your favorite song on the soundtrack?

Mine would be Frou Frou- Let Go, of course. :DD

Garden State seems to be making a huge hit with the 20 something's crowd ... a lot of the teenage crowd don't seem to enjoy it as much and/or don't exactly appreciate it as much. I highly recommend it and to anyone who is planning on seeing it .... make sure you do it soon since its beginning to make its way out of theaters.

DVD should be coming out for Christmas this year in attempts to attract the Oscar Crowd ... By all means, I really believe this movie deserves an oscar - preferably in the Best Original Screenplay category.

You guys should also check out Zach Braff's Blog... makes the movie watching experience all the more worthwhile.

Oh yea ... and my favorite song on the soundtrack would probably be Remy Zero's - Fair or The Shins - New Slang .... kind of debating it. Cheers

aw. i love garden state!
if you haven't seen it, you should :D

my favorite part is when they're sitting on the bed and she's like
"you know what i do when i'm feeling unoriginal"
-she gets up and does a little weird dance- "BLAAalaHB LBLAHBlABLAHBLAHHHHHHHH!!"
"i make or noise or do something no one's ever done before. then i can feel unique again even for a second"

and then she's like you try it,
and he's all uhhh umm.... -bend his finger- "meowwrrrmowmow..."
and she's all.
oh i've done that before

hehe it's so cute.

aw it's such a good movie :D

I still dont' understand what's the big deal about Garden State,
finally watched it, and it was kinda disappointing.
Atleast Natalie Portman's performance was, everyone used to go off about how great she was. Highly overrated movie, but I do like Zach Braff.
