Hmm. For me. I would choose Firefox.
Firefox is really speedy. After you tweak your user.js, it's even speedier.

i really like firefox...very comfortable to use, n even though i dont know much on tweakin, i can sense a slight increase of speed in web surfing.

only time i dont use firefox is:
1) i wanna just type in an FTP url w/o having to load cuteFTP or whatever
2) see xangas

other than that...its nice! :D

btw long, u think its possible to have firefox see xangas correctly? i still dont understand why IE n netscape r the only ones to see them correctly..

I'm probably the only one here who uses Real One Player browser. It's good I guess, I get less pop-ups than Explorer, the weird thing is it doesn't even have pop-up controls.

I used to use Firefox, it rocked, but some of my Xanga layouts wouldn't show up right, and the music wouldn't play and I couldn't watch flash videos (probably could make it right somewhere in settings, but oh well)
I use IE with Google toolbar, and I always do Spybot and Adaware, so I get minimal pop-ups.

(btw, post #200, yesterday i hit 100)

Firefox is the ultimate browser. I also have netscape and Internet Explorer, since most HTML codes don't work with Firefow. I still think it's the best. It's faster than both Netscame and Internet Explorer put together.

Firefox all the way. Multi-tabbed browsing, pop-up blockers, more reliable, never crashes, not buggy like IE, and faster.

I only use IE when I can't access something on Firefox. Only con for me.

I do use I.E. once in a while, but I used my SBC Yahoo! DSL Browser happy.gif Bleh but it's sorta like I.E. and if a page messes up on I.E., it would mess up on the sbc yahoo browser pinch.gif but no pop ups _smile.gif

But anyways I heard about Mozilla, but I never tried it yet. Is FireFox the best? I mean, can it handle anything I.E. can?

anything can be exploited - that's what microsoft updates are for

i.e. allows me more freedom with design. i guess it all depends on what your needs are.

...and people wonder why a website looks flucked up in a different browser.

Mozilla is great. Firefox is better in my opinion, because you can download extensions so the browsers fits your needs. It reduces space on your computer and time to load it up and such.

Don't use IE!!!! It's filled with security holes. Why do you think Microsoft has to throw out all those patches and Windows Updates all the time? Ugh!! I cannot wait to just get rid of Windows and go straight to Linux.

yeah firefox has problems also with websites that have flash. plus it has no active x support so any media on a website that calls for windows media player won't work. that's why those drop down music players don't work in firefox either. sad.gif

i use firefox. after i switched to firefox, i haven't have ONE virus or spyware.

and it's a whole lot faster.

and i can have plug ins... really cool ones...

and themes...

and adblocker ( i don't see the google ads at the page bottom)

and i can with right click open something in IE, so i can view xangas.

FIREFOX. :]

The reason Firefox sometimes has trouble showing xangas correctly is because of Gecko, its browser engine, which is also used by Mozilla and Netscape. Gecko has trouble reading a lot of CSS correctly.
However, I usually don't have too much trouble with this, and I find Firefox to be much cleaner and sleeker than IE.

I think there are some codes on Xangas that are IE specific, so they don't work in Firefox.

I still use Firefox as my default browser; extensions galore- its extremely customizable. When I need to view a page in IE, I use Maxthon. The tabbed browsing in Maxthon is the best I've seen, and it has fairly easy-to-use pop-up browsing. But it still uses IE core, and it's been messing up my computer lately.
