I'm sure you've all given into them at one point or another. What are some of the fads you remember? Well, toy-wise? I remember loving that gooey crap Nickelodeon made...I forget what it was called. Anywho, mine smelled lick pickles. sick.gif I stuck it to my bed post and it kind of...dried over night. pinch.gif Heh. Oh and I remember those pog things...I think that's what they're called...I love how I'm practically rambling on about this. *Envisions the future, knowing no one will respond to topic*

I remember pogs! I loved them, I still don't know their real purpose though. The biggest fads I can remember are Hanson and the Backstreet Boys. I wasn't ever really into the Backstreet Boys, but Hanson is still cool. There were plenty more though. One time every girl in the neighborhood was in love with one guy. hahaha, he was evil to. I don't know what we saw in him. That lasted most of a summer.

haha...gooey crap...i didnt really have ne toys. my family was poor and we barely had enuf money to keep the house.

but now we're cool, cuz we started our own business, and now i have a gameboy! laugh.gif

Aw yeah-I remember that Gooze stuff (in fact it was like 2 yrs ago-wuznt it?) My friend, she carried it all around the school.

Tamagachi's-Ya my friend lent hers to me and I broke the button. That was when I was in 2nd grade....i think.........

Gangstr/Punk-yeeah da school I go to now likes to dress all baggy with the doo-rags n stuff. N all da wite ppl r goin lyk, "Yo brotha wussup????" to the black kids =P Dats sorta annoyin

it was called Gak too....... I remember that and pogs.... never got into the whole pokemon thing, but magic cards were big at my school when I graduated

Oh yea.. i remember all those FADS. Tamagochi, pokemon, yo-yo's, that gloopy stuff, pogs, beanie babies, PR stuff, SKIP IT (ya know that thing that goes around your ankle...), That thing that you snap on to your wrist... like it would be a stiff piece of plastic and you would smack it on your wrist and it would curve to your wrist... yeah that was like long time ago. Pogs were my fav fad tho. I think i still have my pogs and my metal (homemade) slammer. shifty.gif Ah... good memories.... happy.gif

Well....everyone said all the toys I can remember....but,

I do remember socuming to the fad of big ol' pants...that look like cones as pant legs...back in middle school for me...that was like about 9 years ago...wow...im old....

I loved those!!! Real purpose? It was a game? Like.. you would each pile all but one, which would be your "hitter." You'd use it to hit the pile, and whichever you flipped over became your pogs... Maybe only a Hawaii thing? (though i doubt it..)

As mentioned before... tamagochi. pokemon. spicegirls.

Those were the ones I remember being into.

funny. i was JUST thinking about those pog things yesterday, i completly forgot what they were and suddenly stumbled across this "you know you're a 90's child when" thing and it came up. man. there was a new fad every year. letsee.... beanie babies. pokemon. yoyo's. skooters. giga pets/tomagotchi's. power rangers. pants with the rips at the knees that were made that way. rolling backpacks. those shoes that flash when you step. i could go on... i dont get most fads. everyone just has to get it. and when finally, everyone has it. its not fun anymore. stupid.

my biggest fad was TAMAGOTCHI man. i had like 10 of those. i kept breaking them... _unsure.gif

In fifth grade I was all about Tamagachi. JNCO wide legged pants (like 20 inches or what), and kickball.
