its like asking..."which part of the hamburger would u eat? the bun or the meat?"

1) stupid question
2) css, javascript, and html are ALL essential in creating a good skin. One simply can't do without the other. If you don't use CSS, how do you position the blog and modules? If you don't know HTML, how do you put up tables, marquees, or cells? If you don't know Javascript, how do you put up Web counters, pop-up messages, or scripts? You can't eat the bun w/o the meat and vice versa and call it a hamburger, can you?

me..I use all of the above + flash...wait, that's not really codes...but it's just as important to me as the rest, so there.

html's probably the easiest to learn, but css and javascript are essential in creating a good skin (or even a good website)

not really, its actually a good question. some people can be good at css (for xanga) and have to html skill whatsoever. all ov them are bases for making a good website, but i would have to say that before learning the other two, learn html first. then move on to css, and after just go with java to add flare to your site. php and cgi are also good for websites... i hate cgi personally, but i love the scipts that are cgi, its just installing and configuring cgi that i hate... php is alot easier though, once you get those, youll be an awesome webmaster. but yeah, html is the easiest to me.

css is probably the easiest... but you need to know html to know css so.

well, i guess what i'm saying is, once you learn html, css is a no-brainer.
