Ok, I was looking through xanga scripts on here and found a two-part code (createblog script)that is supposed to put a scrollbar in your entries automatically, so I did what it said, and nothing happened.

Then I was scrolling through other people's post and noticed that a lot of other people had problems because I guess they left part out or something but then they fixed it, but I am trying it after it has supposedly been fixed and still nothing happens on my page. Of people who were posting that it wasn't working for them, most later said that they got it to work.

I'm new at this, so if anyone could please, just tell me which code works and which doesn't and put the one that I am to use in here, I will be more than greatful biggrin.gif

hey hunnie,
i was just doing my own scrollbar in my entries, and i can help you with what you need to fix:

i deleted
width:###px;
height:###px;
and made it:
width:600px;
height:200px;

and deleted
border: ##px color solid;
replaced with:
border: 2px black dashed;

and deleted (cause i dont need a background):
background:backgroundcolor;

This is how my custom header turned out.
<!-- begin code provided by createblog.com -->
<style type="text/css">
.custom{
width:600px;
height:200px;
z-index:100;
overflow: auto;
border: 0px white dashed;

}</style>
<!-- end code provided by createblog.com -->

change the 600 and 200px to other dimensions.
change the border 2px, white, dashed to whatever thickness, color, and style you want

keep the website stats part the same! just paste it in!
hope it helped!
lynn
