Do you guys think bringing back terminal/mainframe environment is a good idea? Since it's 9/11 two days ago. after the hijacked.. alot of info were lost. i talk to my friends and they said terminal/mainframe environment is good but isnt that expensive? whats so good about it?

it's generally cheaper to have a bunch of dumb terminals laying around if you're on a large network but it's simply not going to work for a home environment where most people only have one or two computers anyway.

I manage a client/server environment at work, the nice thing about dumb terminals is they are centrally managed from a server.
