do you ever lie so much that you start forgetting whats fake and whats real?

or do you ever mix up a dream with real life? then when you're thinking back, you wonder if it really happened or not.

I did that when I was younger. I used to lie to my friends that my dad called a lot, used to tell them that my parents were still together, you know, shit like that. But not to the extent of forgetting what was real and what wasn't. I am very realistic of everything that's going on in my life.

I used to have this double life thing going on, and I was pretty consistent with it. Nothing like faking my death on an online forum or anything like that, just things I kept from certain groups of people. So yeah, I suppose I can relate. Let me tell you though, it's stressful as hell around both groups of people, trying to make sure you don't slip up all the time. And usually it ends up coming out when, for example, your ex posts your wedding pictures on the internet for someone to run across.
