Sorry if this topic has already been said and done, but i have only come her a couple times....my question is, Why guys have it so easy? They dont have to deal with periods, child labor, having to be thin & look good all the time, and if they do a nude scene it's X rated, but if a woman does a nude scene it's only R rated. Argf. Does anyone agree with me? I feel like im taking crazy pills. haha.

If a man decides to beat his wife, and ends up killing her, he can get an easier, more leanient sentencing than if a wife decides to kill her husband. This is becuase the men get carried away with their anger, and sometimes end up taking it too far. (like killing their wife). BUT..if a woman decides to kill her husband, she will most likely get life in prison, because she had been planning it, and thinking about how to murder him. Think about it. I think this world is un fair. But then again, life is un fair. I hate that saying.

My response is, guys dont have it so easy. Do WE have sofas in our restrooms? Condoms are ribbed for her pleasure, not ours. We're expected to wear uncomfortable suits and ties to formal engagements, and uh. "Women and children first"? What about those urinals designed to splash back on you, no matter where you aim? Noo, we dont get to sit down and be all comfy when we have to go . Whenever WE have mood swings, we have to take responsibility for it, instead of blaming it on that time of month.

Women are being degraded all over the media such as in television and music. We're looked at as ornaments, objects, and at times portrayed as people with no real worth, just things to drool over and jack off to. Sure, its these women's fault for doing what they do and obliging to this kind of behavior, but its the men who have brainwashed them into thinking that liberating yourself means being sexually open and taking your clothes off whenever you see fit and being raunchy. Look at Christina Aguilera for instance. For some reason, people keep saying, "hey look at her, she's so independent, she doesn't give a shit what people think about her, she's so liberated". WTF? This society has brainwashed us into thinking that this is how we liberate ourselves when really, we're only degrading ourselves giving them what THEY want.

This makes it harder for the rest of us, because we have to work even harder to gain respect from men who see us this way. The standards for women are set even higher. Even if our skills were equal to another man, we're still viewed as the inferior one unless we're actually better.

And yes, women do still get paid less than men do even if they were working in the same position for the same company.

LMFAO...we all have our differences and you know, if girls knew what it was like to be a guy, well I guess we would all think differently, who knows? Maybe guys think that us girls have an easier life. But still, I think us girls have more shyt layed upon us than guys. And even though condoms are for our pleasure, we still have to put up with what happens when we get pregnant because condoms don't really protect, but then there's birth controls etc......

1) if the woman does get a restraining order against the guy and he comes to her house to try and kill her what is she suppose to do? throw the piece of paper at him and wait for the police to show up? she would be dead by then because she diecided to use the a piece of parchment for protection.

a woman protects her kids from an abusive husband and trys to defend herself and the guy ends up dead and she goes to jail for life.

What gives us the right to say guys don't have it hard as well? Sure they may not have to put up with PMS, cramps, periods, labor, etc. but maybe they're worse off in a different sense. We are opressed in some ways and we do have to put up with sexism, but so do they.

Hm, let's see, women don't get drafted. Women were never FORCED to fight and die for their country as men did. Yes, some did volunteer, and that's very respectable.

Ok, I just had to say something about this: that is BULLSHIT. 99% of the popular shows are filled with tall, muscualr, with a six pac and huge pecs, broad shoulders, blonde men. Men strive for this standard just as much as women do. It's unsettling to know that most the girls want a guy like Brad Pitt, or Chad Michael Murray, or friggin' Abercrombie Models are a prime example.
A lot of guys feel they need to look like that to attract a girl.

Ok, I agree with the fact that Women have it harder. But I don't agree with some of the examples you guys are putting out to support it. Instead of looking at OUR life, you should look to the life of women in places like, oh let's say Africa, or the Middle East. THAT, that right there should be enough to honestly say most women have it worse then men.
