For the splashpage, you should get rid of the bottom links. And having a pic isn't really necessary if you have a BG. Just choose either one.
Your xanga is kinda defaultish. I think it'll look better if you got rid of the left side modules and made the blog area the same width as your banner. |

i think it looks really pretty! i like ur little pictures on every blog. i would change those link colors tho..they dont seem to match..and take out that underline too!

its real cool for a simple layout. and yes i agree you should get rid of the links on the bottom for a splash

its is defaultish and you shouldn't have that scrollbar in your splash image.
