Well Guys(Girls),

I've been playing quite a bit of Mass Effect 2 these past few days. I have the game for PC, and I'm just blow away by the difference between this game and the last. The first game was amazing, but the difference between the two is like night and day. The dialog in this game is top notch, the character personalities are unique and distingushed, the graphics are awesome, and the controls are 100% better than the first game (granted that part isn't hard). While there are times when my character will take cover when I don't expect him to, I can honestly say that every game play aspect that was in ME has been improved upon in ME2.

I don't think I've ever seen a game so strongly supported by it's predecessor. I would even go so far as to say the game wouldn't be as enjoyable if you didn't play through the first game. I can see this being a blessing and a curse. Mass Effect 2 will get rave reviews and people who havn't played the first game will pick up this title. I like this aspect of the game. I'm a real fan of the ME series and have thoughly indulged myself in the last title, but those who havn't will struggle to piece together past and fully understand the setting of the second game.

Do and of you play the game? What do you think?

I just finished ME2. It's safe to say that this game clearly has game of the year written all over it. Some might say it's too early in the year to tell, but some havn't completed the game. The Mass Effect series is a ground breaking series in video game history. Where so many titles have tried, the Mass Effect series has succeeded in creating what feels like a truely dynamic video game where your actions really do matter. I feel sorry for all gamers who do not give the Mass Effect series a play through. They're missing out on one of the greatest series of games in history.

Thank you BIOWARE
