Just felt like buying a knife. I narrowed it down to these three and now can't decide.

Knife 1

Knife 2

Knife 3

Use a rusty butter knife to kill someone then carve another knife out of their bones.

Cheap knives get dull quick. If you want to actually cut things with it you want to spend money.

Ehhh. Well I'm not a huge fan of spending money. Got any suggestions for something $20 or less, including shipping?

It doesn't matter if you have a cheap knife and never use it. What are you going to be using it for?

The second one you posted isn't too terrible for >$20. You're really limited at that price though.

I'm not talking about you being in possession of one. I've carried a knife with me for as long as I can remember (and actually put it to good use, but that's besides the point). I'm saying that you should be aware of the laws in your state IF you decide you want to carry it with you places. I used to carry mine with me everywhere I went, but now I don't really have a need to. In my state, it's a class a misdemeanor to carry a knife.

And, Texas has laws, too: http://pweb.netcom.com/~brlevine/tx.txt

what are you gonna do with a knife that big though? you're a little kid. you prob don't even wear boots big enough to hold a big knife. i have a big knife that i keep in my car in case i need to shank someone since i'm black.

you should get a smaller knife, because then you can carry it with you easier and also you can probably afford a nicer small knife than big knife. this is what i always carry

Again, I don't wanna pay that much. I don't think the knife is that big. I have a folding knife, but I wanted one in a sheath. This is what I have right now.

And I look like a little kid. I need a haircut again. Also, how do I sharpen a knife? The one I have now is blunt as crap.

I hate that knife, cause it is shaky, and feels like it is gonna fall apart. #2 in the OP looks steady and sturdy. And although the knives with finger holes look friggin awesome, I don't think they are as practical.

yeah that's exactly how mine felt. it makes you not even wanna use it because you think it's about to break and cut your hand off at any moment.

what are you gonna cut with it

idk, all kinds of crap. That's what a reliable knife is for. If I saw a flip knife, that actually looks sturdy, I might use it, (my current one cost 10$) but I would much prefer one that doesnt.

They're called brass knuckles not "finger holes".

Why would I do that? I'm not five? Wouldn't matter anyways. It's a small private school. No one would give a crap. The teachers would just say 'That's nothing' and show me their machete.

Ok, a new competitor appears.

Huge 15" knife

vs.

Military Bowie knife

I think the 15" is a little intense. And I couldn't fit it down a boot.

Also, I ordered the Bowie knife, but then I canceled when I realized I just spent 21 dollars. But I still want it.

The second one; you're more stealth with a black knife.
