Art behind Player question. Options

I've seen some layouts that have the art from the top header carry down into the player section where the myspace player is over the art. is that just a code that makes the player a div? If so, any links would be awesome!
I would like to start doing that and was just wondering.

Posts merged. Read this. Once you understand how it works, set a low z-index value for your header DIV. Then use this code to position the player. Make sure to raise the z-index value for the music player if your header DIV's z-index is larger than 9.
