In PHOTOSHOP.
How would I make a font the same texture as an image below but different color? Like it's printed on the texture. I've tried a few things (messing with opacity and overlaying the texture), but it just seems like it takes away from the text color. Here's an example? Hope it helps... http://www.kindamuzik.net/gfx/thrice-cvr-1107.jpg Thanks! Cody |

Looks like they just used an overlay, maybe screen.

Try also desaturating the texture and overlaying it over just the text, via a clipping mask. That way it'll be strong on the text.

Find a denim texture image or a texture that is similar to what you want. Put as your first layer then add a second layer which would be your text. For your text layer make it an overlay. I hope that is what you meant.
