This was rejected so I got recommendation to post it here.
You can see & download layout HERE.

Personally I think quality of this is somewhere in the middle, meaning that I'm not quite statisfied with it but also not quite disappointed.
I generally don't make tiny layouts and absolutely hate layouts centered on the right, because I'm aware it's visually wrong (not where the people's vision focus is when looking at the monitor) but I wanted to make something different.

Well yeah, I know image is not really high quality, but maybe it's my monitor thing... cause I'm doing it all on my laptop which does not have really high resolution so while I can see that photo is not great I thought brushes managed to "mask" it... I'll check it at home on bigger resolution...

But I'm glad you like it. I maybe do something similar with better image and centered in the middle shifty.gif

I don't think the content should be aligned to the right. Assuming the reader's native language is a left-to-right language (which is fair to assume in this case, since the layout itself is in English), your eye is naturally going to first look to the left for content. It feels unnatural to have to read along the right-hand margin.

Right-aligned make your eyes work harder, and you want your viewers to have as pleasant an experience with your layout as possible. It's not necessary to use a centered or left aligned format, but it's recommended.

The image of the girl, again, is what really gets me. If you're not sure about the quality of your images, post in here to see what we think or make sure to use a stock photo site that is known for high quality images. Her face, which should be the clearest part of the image, is the most smudged and blurry of the entire layout. In fact, it looks like you used some sort of texture over her face - not a good idea.

Other than that, it looks really good. The only other thing I would add is that your links don't quite match with the rest of your layout, but it's more of an opinion. I'd use a serif font and get rid of the background/border colors.

I completely agree with getting rid of the right alignment. Since it's so thin, I don't think it would even look good left-aligned, and would probably put it in the middle. I have a fairly small screen (not really that small, but smaller than a lot of monitors out there), and that huge white space is just weird. It'll be even weirder on monitors that are large.

Can you show us what the layout would look like if you left aligned it or at least centered it? I'm sure the results would look good.

Thanks for reply.

Yeah, I completely agree with your opinion on alignement... but as I said I tried to do something new especially because I never coded layout aligned to right before so I wanted to try it. It may be funny to you but I wasn't sure if I knew how to do that rolleyes.gif
As for me personally, I always look the left side of monitor first, then center. Spontaneously, of course.

Well, I will be making new layout these days and post it here... it's actually more interesting than submitting it for download, getting more elaborate feedback is great

Yeah I think it looks nice but I'm not really such a big fan of the fact that's it's aligned on the right. I think layouts look better centered or on the left. Also I think what you need to work on the most is your banner. Like everyone said, the image quality is low. You also used too many brushes/textures/effects in it. It'd probably look better if you erased all those effects that are on the image of her, if you nawmean. Also, Impact = crazy.gif Change it. Please lol.

I don't like staring at a background that is mostly blank of the left side. You could give your background image a boost to make it more interesting to the viewers eye.
