Sounds like total bullshit, and looks like some geek got bored and decided to f*ck with us by creating shows in PS.
I hate how he keeps saying "technologies" like a f*cking douche. |

The narrator almost makes me not want to upgrade.
And the upgraded warping tool is going to be the death of all things graphic. I thought it was bad enough with kids pirating Photoshop and hocking images off Google just to make them wiggle in glittery GIFs. Here comes a whole new era of horrendous images. :( What would be cool is if they incorporated some technologies from Flash to get tweening effects. |

Tbh, I don't see most type of images being applied with these types of techniques
the first demonstration was just stupid. There's a thing called smudge tool, and I'm sure there are filters to apply those painty effects. As for the cool brushes, there are already cool brush images that can apply those as well. Second demonstration is just if u wanna fix the alignments. I don't think anyone will notice a slight error on making things straight. I was hoping for more of a dynamic approach, but I guess adobe wants Photoshop to be friendly and more dumbed down. Oh btw if that was suppose to be CS5 why do I sill see CS4 on the window |

I seriously want to shoot the narrator. Why does he speak to us like we're preschoolers.
Must say that new warp feature looks pretty useful, though. I'd almost wanna get CS5 JUST for the improved warp feature. And yeah, I kind of really hate how this new version of Photoshop is a lot more friendlier to complete noobs. To me, it seems as though it's stooping down to their level. Hate that. And I want to shoot the narrator. |

I kinda hate adobe on their part. It's really annoying to upgrade to new software.. which it's only been what a year since cs4? They can easily let people install plug gins... or make updates to upgrade the software. Example like Itunes.

They can easily let people install plug gins... or make updates to upgrade the software. Example like Itunes. i kind of agree, but music and graphic editing are two complete different things ( plus they're owned by two different companies ). i think adobe has nothing to fear with plugins, because that's what users on the internet do. they find ways to find these types of stuff and squeeze them into photoshop ( kind of like GIMP pluggins ). for the upgrade part, i'm pretty sure half the users are already annoyed by the long time to install photoshop. maybe the upgrades can be small, but i don't see a point in continuously downloading extra stuff if I'm not going to use them in the future. i'll change my mind when adobe can incorporate some type of marvelous special update that will dazzle the audience, lol. |

The Photoshop window in the video still has that blue cs4 title mark on top of the toolbar?? Well, they don't change their logo for every version. 4 - 6 ('96 - '00) had the same icon. But it could also be that they haven't design the CS5 icon yet. The icon and splash screen are going to be least on their list of things to do before it's released. |

eh i think i should downgrade to cs3, it's been running slower for my computer and i don't see that much of a difference. I agree. I loved CS3. I just updated to CS5 two days ago. I like it and all, but it's starting to get a TAD bit slower. I mean, frankly, I haven't noticed a difference, but when I'm applying filters and saving large files it gets a bit sluggish. :( I should go in between with CS4, LOL. |

CS5 doesn't seem to slow down my system while it's running, which is nice. With CS4 I'd constantly have to end the program because it was using too much RAM. It does seem to open faster too. CS3 and up are all the same pretty much. I haven't experimented with cs5 too much, basically just the content aware fill. haha I'm always working. :(
