This is a logo for my web design business. I need advice on how to improve it.
1. It's suppose to symbolize an Ark or a ship. Does it look that way? 2. What do you think about the colors? 3. Does the font and spacing seem OK? Please let me know what you think. Thanks guys

I really really like it. I usually don't like rainbow type things but it looks fine. I could tell it was a boat once I saw it. Nice job.

Here is an updated version.. I changed the font,, slightly changed the contrast of the colors plus the corners on the left .. is it an improvement, or did it look better before?

I like the first one better, because the text stands out more (and that's what you want people to see). The text looks a little lost in the background on the second one.

Use the font in first one but add a mast and a flag on top! I'm sure that this would look either awesome or terrible, no where really in the middle but I think it's worth a shot. Plus, this is quite versatile in that it will still look awesome in black and white too.

I like the ship in the second version but the font in the first version. Try putting those together and see if they look good. Also, I agree with Kristina (technicolour) about the flag and such. Nice job

I, too, like the font in the first one and the boat in the second one, but I suggest you make the corners that are going out curve in just a bit more. Also, move the text up a little bit and add like a flag to the boat. Great job on this.

I think the design deserves an A+ but I dont think the overall design is very customer centered, as in people are not going to recall your company with just the logo and no text because the overall general design looks very pre-made (professional pre-made). I think the next step would be getting to know the company better and making it more personal

^ I completely agree. This is an impressive logo though, I will say. I've done a lot of logos for a lot of businesses and this is good work.
