are you guys gonna be anything for halloween?

i'm not. i hate this holiday. i hate everything scary too, like scary movies. it all gives me bad dreams. if you hate halloween like me then instead of telling me what you're gonna be, tell me what is the best thing you ever were. i was peter pan one time. i think i was 11 or something, i don't remember. it was a really badass costume i'll tell you that much. except for i wore green tights and so my legs were really cold. i was also a ninja turtle.

I don't remember all of my Halloween costumes from the past.. mostly pretty mainstreamed costumes, like a vampire one year, death, and an old man. I'll be working this Halloween like last year, and the year before that. It seems to always take place on a weekend.

I was Baby Bop once when I was like 5. Such a kick ass costume. I wonder if my mom still has it.

My mind just broke. I cannot picture JC in little tights running around as Peter Pan.

I don't particularly hate Halloween, but I don't really celebrate it either. Oh, oh, but I've dressed up as Peter Pan when I was like 8. I think I was also a ninja one time, that Scream dude, and a hobo. But now, I don't really like going outside half the night asking to get candy, it just sorta seems... childish to me. All I do now is usually ask my friends for a candy or two. tongue.gif

Me too! I had nightmares for about a year after reading Roald Dahl's The Witches in grade 3. And that book wasn't even that scary!

Hm, my favourite costume... my step-grandmother made my sister and me Sailor Scout costumes when I was about eight years old (sister was Sailor Mars and I was Sailor Venus). That was freaking dope. And in grade 12, my friend and I dressed up as emos for the Halloween dance at school, and then as Waldo impostors for the actual day of. I miss that.

I'll be 40 years old going around asking people for candy. I don't give a f*ck. Halloween is my favorite holiday other than Christmas.

I'm going to a Halloween party, so I think I'll actually have a costume this year.

I was going to reprise my role as Jesus, but I cut my hair about a month ago. sad.gif

I thought about going as a robot, but I already did that one year.

I wanted to go as Hunter S. Thompson, but my hair is too long.

I'm thinking about going as Sherlock Holmes, if I can find an appropriate costume.

Halloween is celebrated for multiple nights at my college... since my boyfriend and our friends all play rugby, the rugby guys + girlfriends are dressing up as Family Guy characters one night (I'm Lois), X-Men characters another night (I don't remember who I'm being) and Smurfs another night. My roommate and friends want me join them as Moulin Rouge girls but I don't know about that yet.

F*ck Halloween, my mum doesn't let me dress up. Doesn't matter if I'm going to a party or out trick or treating, I'm "too f*cking old for that kind of shit."

Plus, she's...suuuuuuuuuper Christian now, but she won't say those excuses 'cause I'd laugh my way out of the house down to a rental place ftw.

Me too... I know I can be considered a kid, but not young enough to enjoy Christmas or Halloween like I used to.

I hate thinking about my childhood. I miss it too much.

Halloween is so much better when you're a kid. You actually dress up, go trick or treating, all that. They even used to have a Halloween Festival every year at my elementary school. Good times, good times.

I remember I dressed up as a Power Ranger, Jasmine from Aladdin, a witch, fortune teller, 1950's vixen, fairy, Dorothy and... that's all I remember.
