My daughter's bday is coming up. Im having 2 parties in one day. The day time will be for my baby. Sun down, and its for my bff. Anyhow, I know what the grown ups want, but whats good ideas for kids. Im so tired of the same bounce house. I own it, and I pull it out every party. All the kids cant swim, so I have to find something for the other kids to do. Im not hiring a clown again. That was a waste of money everytime. Im thinking a train ride, but thats only good for small kids. The ages are from 2-15 years of age.

2-15 year olds? A pool party. You have to wear a two piece though. and you have to invite me.

Ok. None of the kids are allowed 2 pieces, but when they go to bed, us grownups will don them. biggrin.gif

The kids at the higher end of that age range will just be satisfied getting drunk. I'm not sure what to do with the 2-year-olds, though.

No drunk kids, and I hate Chuck E Cheese. Also how is a dual party ghetto?

Did a pinata once and someone got hurt really bad, but I may try it again. The house I have now has a tree I can hang it from.

what's the point in asking if you're basically going to shoot everyone's ideas down?

The party thing is mostly for the adults, not the kids. In my experience (I have a nearly 10 year old), the kids could give a crap about the actual party as long as there's sugar and presents. I mean, the novelty of the party wears off really fast.

Is this for a boy or a girl? Face painting and cup cake decorating are both cheap and keeps the creative juices flowing and the kids busy.

Parenting.com has some ideas as well.
