do you have it in your state/area?
apparently i go back to tx on tax-free weekend and am being forced to go with the family to san marcos so my sister can spend $120398234091823. i guess it's cool and everything, but i've been living in nj all summer where there's never tax on clothing. :( |

Tax Free weekend in Texas is MURDER.
In Texas it's 8.25%. So not worth all the hassle of dealing with the people in the stores though. |

tax free weekend in missouri includes all back to school shit. computers, clothes, supplies...etc. a lot of places even have a lot of sales. i went out and bought a macbook pro since it was tax free, AND skipped the whole line at the apple store because i made a reservation on line. the girls at the front of the line got pissed. SUCK IT!

Yes, in BC it's 12% on clothing (5% is GST, 7% is PST), and it's one less tax for food-/children-/school-related goods. I always just forget which one it is lol.
Except our f*cker of a Prime Minister is introducing a "Harmonized Tax", so by next year everything will be 12%. f*ckface. :( TWELVE PERCENT f*ck. |
