I get white hair. It depends it could be because of stress and also because we/they lack melanin. Which is basically the thing that gives your hair its colour. Can be genetic too . . . I had a teacher that had a full head of hair the was white when she was only 17. She told us that she started dying it after that lol.

I think it is all in the genes. Some of my girl friends have strands of white hair, nothing too noticeable. Maybe they got it from their parents or something

yeps, i agree. i'm supposed to get some grey or white hairs when i get to be around 20-22. it runs in my family, but after that, my black hair should come back.. it's sooo weird to be expecting this... it's from my entire dad's side of the family.... meep! it's not like my whole head but random strands, possibly some chunks...

Most likely stress...and genetics. But then, I thought genetics comes to the picture when you're around 30 and you already have white hair growing on you (I mean..massively) and that's because your parents started having white hair when they were in their 30s.

my mom said that you could get white hair when your young because maybe you showered then you tie ur hair immediatly when its still wet. Or you blow dry ur hair too much. Or you sleep when your hair is still wet. Its science.

how you get white hairs is that you stress too much about things around you. it could be about friends, family, or whatever pops up to your head. i have been stressing and i found some white hair, or it could have been my golden highlights, but if you do find some white hair just cut it or pluck it, so people who notice and ask. `cohs it will look wierd
