I also rented this movie. It was so emotional. It made me think not to accuse someone of something they did wrong untill you know the whole truth. Can someone also explain the ending with the "mute" kid...etc

i saw the movie on PPV. its sooo good. the deal with the mute kid is that he and his friend killed the girl cus they were playing around with the gun and dey shot her. sooo dey chase her through the woods and i guess left her to die. im a little confuse bout it too so im probably gonna watch the ending again.

Yeah that was an incredible movie. I think Sean Penn is one of the best male actors ever.

The ending with his mute brother was significant.

His mute brother felt threatened by his brother's girlfriend, so he and his hoodlum friend murdered her, and stupidly called the police afterward.

It just took the guy a little while to figure it out.

I thought it was an amazing movie.

Oh man I saw this movie not too long ago. You're right - Sean Penn is a fantastic actor. It's so sad...a great drama.

it's a good movie... clint eastwood made it so susensful. can't spell. i'd give it 2 thumbs up. !!
