the game has been dissing jay z constantly for however long now. some claim since "hate it or love it" dropped. i don't feel like summing it all up, but this will give you a start on recent events

http://www.sohh.com/2009/07/tony_yayo_questions_the_g.html

but wtf, i don't even get what his problem is really. do you think he's going about this beef the right way? i don't even get why he would f*ck with jay. he's on such a lower level than him in general anyway. does anyone even care about game now? ever? not really...

WOW he's stupid. maybe he thinks by mentioning Jay-Z so much in his lame songs more people will listen to him. he just wants attention and a reaction out of Jay-Z and perhaps some other people. is there really any legit reason for most beefs between rappers anyway? that was lame of him to bring Beyonce into it.
QUOTE
When I took that little shot at Beyonce, I basically was just freestyling and she just got hit. I ain't even gonna break none of this stuff down or none of that, I was just coming straight off the dome. That Beyonce line just came right out. I didn't necessarily mean to go at Beyonce, I got beef strictly with your boy Jigga Man...It sounded like I called Beyonce a h*e. I did call her a h*e but I did not mean to call Beyonce a h*e. I don't know where she's been or who she's been with.
he should just keep his mouth shut. if he doesn't know them personally he shouldn't be taking personal shots at them like that.

He's mad because while after the bet awards jay and bey were having dinner and cocktails with chris martin and his wife (which is true by the way) he was on the corner with pookie queeda and them playing c-lo and drinking 40's talking about when they going to get a snackbox.

When are you guys gonna figure out that this is for the money? Fans love this shit... they love beef between rappers, well.. at least that's what CEOs of record labels think at least. In their mind set, they believe that fans wanna hear the next diss song and what it's all about, so fans will go out of their way to buy the album just for that material.

C'mon guys... snap out of it... seriously.

^ everyone already knows it's for the money. what else would be the point of a nobody like game calling out jay if it wasn't for the publicity that you get for calling out jay? that's the point everyone in this thread has already been making that it's silly to have someone like game calling out jay. no one cares about him. hence him being the only side to this one sided beef which jay hasn't bothered to acknowledge.

i don't think it's some staged elaborate thing though between them, and i don't think it will make them much money since no one really gives a f*ck what game has to say at this point.

I'm no longer a Jay-Z fan because he hated on Chris Brown and kept him from performing at the BET awards. So I'm going for Game even though he bi-polar and going to be apologizing to Jay tomorrow and then dissing him again the next day. Some of the lines in the diss song were hilarious.

"T-Pain stays, old n-gga goes"
laugh.gifnod.gif

"No one on the corner got a swagger like you, ’cause no one on the f*ckin’ corner is 42."

^so what if little Chris Brown didn't get to dance around like Michael Jackson at the award show. there will be plenty of shows for him to perform/imitate MJ at in the future.

it doesn't matter. that's not the point or why him wanting to dance at that specific one was a big deal.
