Somebody change this topic title to Soundscape please!!

I took the soundwaves (is that the right term?) of a song and turned it into a landscape of sorts. It's still a WIP but I just wanted some feedback to see I'm in the right direction.

Reason for edit: Please use [thumb] tags instead of [img] tags when posting large images. - Mike

You should have made it bigger! And you need to save it as png because it is messed up around the sound waves. But dood this is awesome! I love how yo ucarried some of the sky into the before, up top. Looks great! You pulled it off well.

Add more lights to the buildings because Im not really getting the feeling of buildings right now. And you should make the reflections more reflectiony. Add some wavey water looking stuff.

Quite new with reflections, so don't really know how to achieve that effect. Will keep playing with it.

Just read a quick tutorial. Basically you make black and white stripes, then add some blurs then use the displace filter.

That was really creative. I love to watch how ideas construct themselves into skyscrapers. This is good stuff. thumbsup.gif

OH! Use music notes to make flowers!

It looks better on the side with the moonlight. I'd like it a tad larger to see more subtle details.

I changed your title. For the future, you can change it yourself by clicking the edit link in the bottom right corner of your post. ;)

Anyway, very creative idea.

Very creative.

I agree you should add some reflections and make the buildings more noticable. Yeah man, make it bigger! :D
