I like smartFTP but you have to pay for it.
I would also recommend FireFTP too which is a Firefox add-on, That works almost like smartFTP.

I'd say FireFTP or fix your Filezilla bug (it's always been my favourite). Try a completely fresh install of FZ, that ought to fix it.

telnet is to slow for me.
I prefer filezilla. Winscp is a also a cleaner version of filezilla and is the favorite of most proffessionals. I like it because you can right click and edit files. But if I am only transfering files I use my network.

go to my computer, hit file and then choose new network location and run through the wizard and connect it to your server. Then you go to my computer, click on the network and it shows all the file son your server.

O, i thought telnet was ftp. And by slow I mean the commands take to long, and searching for the exact file names. Dragging and dropping is much easier.

So you're not familiar with your own file structure. I memorized the location of every file in my computer, and you should too.

Ya cause I would rather type out C:/Users/Documents/server/images/contact/bottom/line.png

Then I would go to the folder and drag and drop it. And odds are I would misspell something.

f*ck your windows. ~/srv/img/contact/bottom/line.png

Or even better: /var/www/
