becuase it's what i think.

it looks even more noticeable on black people that it's a fake eye color and so it's odd looking.

it depends on what color you choose
for african americans, light eye contacts would just look freaky
it depends on the color of ur complexion
you just gotta know the right color that will go best with ur skin color
because some of us are darker than others
i agree it will look fake but there natural colors out there

Yeah I agree if you REALLY REALLY wanted them I would go hazel or even use a slight yellow color to make your eyes seem like a warmer brown.

Agreed. Just stay away from bright colors (like blue). I think they look ridiculous on any complexion, to be honest. If you want a color change, make it subtle.

No need to reply multiple times, that would be spamming.

Well at least you're capable of wearing them. They don't make any that would fit my eye shape, so I'm just stuck with clear contacts.

I agree with him. but if anything, get a very dark green. bright colors will most definitely not look right on you.

In Africa, there are dark skinned people with hazel color eyes. Also in that video one mic, there was a dark skinned dude with hazel eyes. I've even seen blue.

But I know what JC is saying though. You can pretty much tell whether the it's the person's natural color or their wearing contacts.

You know, everytime I get on the bus or the train I happen to see a lot of dark skinned people with real blue eyes. It's beautiful and shocking at the same time.

Thanks for all your replies
But one thing I don't get is that why does always have to be about race??
It's possible for a person to change their eye color so why not try it
And that's what I'm doing
I edited the pic I have on here by changing the color of my eyes to a hazel sort of color
and I posted it on myspace
I got tons of comments and feedbacks on how beautiful my eyes are
So race doesn't really have anything to do with it
if an African American wants contacts they just have to make right ones to make look more natural and that is possible

it's not us making it about race, it's just stating the facts. colored contacts can look more weird on black people. this is just fact that black peoples eye color doesn't typically vary as much so looking natural could be harder. are we supposed to just talk about this like your race/complexion is irrelevant. lol. you brought it up immediately when you talked about your complexion so clearly that does have something to do with it right?

I don't be believing everything the white man tells me in text books. He says a black man can't have green eyes unless it comes from a white ancestor, but yet I've seen many documentaries in Africa where the someone like an elder be coming out with green eyes. I doubt a white man penetrated that tribe. Blue eyes, yeah that comes from European ancestry. But then again the Europeans originated from Africa. Science proves that everyone originated from black people. The white man's textbook doesn't teach this though. They also depict Egyptians and Jesus as white too, so I'm not surprised. _dry.gif

yeah the op is a f****t!!!!!!! no not really, I once wore a couple colored contacts, then I lost one so I wore one colored contact. This was also during my retarded phase where I was constantly changing my hair color and thought it was cool to be colorful and dyed. At graduation, I wore one blue colored contact and then my other eye was well, not blue (brown). Oh and I dyed my hair black a couple days before.

Looking real on and African American and how color contacts on males
Look gay
I'm just saying I know all those facts and I still want it
I think the right color would look great on me
